About the role
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Builiding and Facilities Manager responsible for the integrated management and maintenance of a portfolio of Endeavour leased properties across the Group, including but not limited to Endeavour’s multiple office locations. The position requires an in-depth knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance, the ability to create operational efficiencies, to negotiate comprehensive contracts and implement innovative workplace solutions with a focus on team comfort and sound financial management. It also plays a crucial part in contributing to Endeavour Group’s environmental and sustainability goals.
Excellent relationship building and management skills are crucial as this role interfaces with Landlord’s, managing agents and contractors across various Endeavour Group business units.
Here’s a snapshot of the Building & Facilities Manager responsibilities
Using your initiative and proactively facilities management of a portfolio of Endeavour locations which may extend to office, retail, hotel, warehousing and production locations, you will;
1. Work in partnership with Procurement, conduct contract negotiations with external providers of facilities management services to achieve prompt, reliable, cost effective, quality services for Endeavour.
2. Develop & manage maintenance planning and programming for prescribed maintenance, services and activities across the portfolio of sites.
3. Manage vendor relationships and compliance within Service Level Agreements.
4. Partner with Landlord’s and their agents to resolve complex and standard building issues and in line with our tenancy agreements and create mutually beneficial working relationships.
5. Ensure all facilities meet essential service maintenance requirements and are compliant with all OHS, regulatory, legislative and tenancy requirements.
6. Lead and act on all audit and findings.
7. Undertake risk analysis and develop risk minimisation strategies appropriate to the Endeavour facilities requirements.
8. Implement / monitor programs which ensure full compliance with legislative requirements.
9. Ensure all teams and contractors are properly trained and instructed in safe operating procedures.
10. Working with the People team, ensure we are compliant for first aid, fire warden & RSA.
11. Work in partnership with the Workplace Experience Lead & Social Crew, support and implement plans to ensure we consistently deliver the desired team experience across various Endeavour locations.
12. Contribute to the set up of newly created sites across the portfolio, working closely with the Property Management and Development team from initial concept phase through to delivery of the final build and sign off.
13. Lead ad-hoc Endeavour wide Property / Facilities projects / initiatives across multiple sites.
14. Develop annual budget submissions for the facilities requirements and exercise control measures as necessary to ensure works are completed on time and within budget. Manage all Coupa invoicing requirements.
Now let’s talk about you
Ideally, you'll have 5 or more years demonstrated experience in facilities management and maintenance and capital project delivery across multiple sites, preferably in the corporate sector, in addition have;
15. Sound knowledge of OH&S and legislative compliance and practices
16. Proven experience in customer service and managing effective relationships
17. Prior experience in a property management role is highly desirable
18. Experience in managing budgets and the appropriate skills and competencies
19. Strong client service focus, with an ability to build and maintain effective relationships
20. Strong organisational, project and time management skills
21. Capacity to work independently, manage competing priorities and deliver quality outcomes on time
22. Good written and verbal communication skills
