Overview
Army Aviation Command is seeking an experienced Project Support professional to assist with the Introduction Into Service (IIS) of the AH-64E Apache helicopter capability. Working within the Capability Implementation Team (CIT), the successful candidate will support delivery of capability milestones under the Capability Realisation Plan (CRP) and assist the SO1 Attack Helicopters in coordinating project governance, stakeholder engagement and program delivery activities.

* Location: Fairbairn, ACT (Brisbane may be considered for suitable candidates)
* Security Clearance: NV1 (current)
* Full-time: $185,000 + Super
* Start Date: May 2026
Role Responsibilities
* Support execution of the AH-64E Capability Realisation Plan (CRP)
* Maintain capability schedules and documentation cycles for the Capability Implementation Team
* Coordinate with CASG project offices and operational units across Army Aviation
* Assist with planning and coordination of Test & Evaluation (T&E) activities
* Support governance forums, working groups and capability boards
* Prepare milestone evidence packs and documentation for capability approvals
* Assist coordination of maritime role expansion activities with Royal Australian Navy stakeholders
* Represent the Capability Implementation Team in meetings where required
* Provide support across additional Army Aviation capability tasks where required
Required Skills and Experience
* Active NV1 security clearance
* Experience supporting Defence capability programs or project delivery environments
* Strong coordination and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to manage documentation, schedules and governance activities
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat)
Desirable Experience
* Background in Army Aviation or military helicopter capability programs
* Experience with capability management or Defence project management
* Engineering, logistics or technical background
* Experience using Microsoft Project or other project management tools
