Due to retirements, the admin team is changing and we are happy to design roles to suit the strengths of the new team.
You are a team player and you will be the backup support for your colleagues when they are on leave. The admin team consists of 2-3 people and we support each other. This is a salaried position so occasional extra hours at busy times are generally treated on a "Roundabouts & Swings" basis with time returned periodically. We observe a Christmas shutdown for 2-3 weeks.
Your responsibilities:
* Daily maintenance of payroll records (Error checking, maintain Masterfile, assist with Noahface software)
* Onboarding new Subcontractors & Employees
* Manage your own and the team's checklists on Monday. com
* Accounts Payable processing and reconciliation in Jonas Premier Accounting System
* Reconciliation of Credit Card Statements
* Shared responsibility to answer phones / reception as required
* Maintain vehicle fleet (e.g. making registration payments, booking appointments)
* Manage stock of uniforms, PPE, stationary and other office supplies
* Support Financial Controller in various specific tasks as required
* Other duties as required from time to time
Your profile:
* You have worked a minimum of 3 years in a similar role (preferably the building industry) and have experience in accounts payable and payroll.
* You are proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite.
* You have a strong eye for detail (e.g. error checking on timesheets, processing of bills), are meticulous in keeping records and enjoy communicating with your colleagues and external partners.
* You must have full working rights in Australia.

The salary advertised is for a full time position and will be adjusted according to the agreed hours.
