Job Title: Undergraduate Reliability Test Engineer
Duration: 12 months (commencing July 2025)
Location: Clayton, Australia (with minor overseas travel possible)
About the Role
This paid position offers a chance to collaborate with industry professionals in a fast-paced environment. As an integral part of our Cross-Domain Computing Solutions team, you will gain valuable experience and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
* Scheduling, supervising and/or testing of automotive products & produce quality results on time
* Providing related inputs for product development and designing of new products, components or systems
* Generating Test Plans; or contributing elements to Dver/DV/PV Test Specifications
* Supporting with the maintenance and calibration of test equipment
* Championing and initiating improvements in the testing process and methodologies
* Supporting activities to fulfil NATA/ISO17025 requirements
About You
To be considered for this role, you should meet the following criteria:
* Currently enrolled in and have completed a minimum of 2 years towards an Engineering undergraduate degree, undertaking a mechatronics, mechanical, electrical or materials major
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal including a strong focus on customer and stakeholder relationships
* Experience in product testing for the automotive industry preferably
* Understanding of international testing standards and specifications
* Understanding and demonstrating proficiency in Programming Languages
* Exhibit passion for self-drive, pro-activeness, accountability and excellence
* Excellent attention to detail, be able to prioritise multiple tasks, work well within a team
* Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders, including senior team members, while also working effectively individually
* Have a strong interest in innovation and open to opportunities to combine your studies with on-the-job learning
* Experience in working in multi-national teams
* Understanding of ISO/IEC 17025 standard
