About the Position
Our Allied Health Team is expanding due to growing referral bases. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, person-centered services across a range of client needs, from short-term to complex, long-term cases. Responsibilities include:
* Conducting assessments and preparing reports (e.g., Sensory Profile, Functional Assessments, Multi-disciplinary Assessments)
* Setting occupational therapy goals with clients and families
* Developing intervention plans
* Providing support in various settings (home, community, schools, clinic, telehealth)
* Creating resources and strategies for clients
* Training parents, carers, and support workers
* Participating in Care Team Meetings
Our tools include assessments like Child and Adult Sensory Profile, WHODAS 2.0, Vineland-3, and others. The role suits both experienced practitioners and recent graduates, with tailored caseloads, supervision, and training. The office is based in Ringwood, with travel around Melbourne and options for remote work. Opportunities for regional and interstate projects are available.
Desired Skills and Experience
* Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA
* Interest or experience in working with individuals with intellectual disabilities or trauma
* Experience with assessments of functional needs, sensory profiling, and holistic lifestyle assessments
* Ability to administer and interpret various assessment tools
Requirements
* Current Driver's License
* Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening (or ability to obtain)
* Willingness to adhere to vaccination requirements
