Intensive Care Registrar Role
This role offers the opportunity to provide onsite 24/7 medical care, assessment and coordination of patients within Intensive Care Units (ICUs). You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
* Support the provision of critical care to patients within ICUs, including providing clinical advice and support to practitioners for patients requiring intensive care services.
* Efficient management of admissions and discharges to Intensive Care in coordination with the in-charge nurse when on duty.
As an Intensive Care Registrar, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient outcomes through effective leadership, collaboration, and communication.
Key Responsibilities
* Demonstrated competence and experience in providing high quality, compassionate medical care within an Intensive Care Unit environment.
* Demonstrated ability to effectively lead the multidisciplinary team whilst demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in periods of high activity.
* Commitment to teaching and supervision of students, trainees and staff including medical, nursing and allied health professionals.
Requirements
* Completed degree in medicine or equivalent qualification recognized by AHPRA.
* Registration with AHPRA or eligible for full registration within 12 months.
