Your New Role
As a Safety Advisor, you will play a critical role in driving health, safety, and environmental excellence across projects. This position offers a mix of office-based work and site visits, providing variety and engagement in your day-to-day responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coach and mentor Project Managers, Engineers, Supervisors, and Delivery Partners to embed a proactive safety culture.
* Ensure compliance with safety standards and legislative requirements across all activities.
* Conduct observations, site inspections, and audits.
* Investigate incidents, injuries, and environmental breaches.
* Manage incident reporting within internal and client systems.
What You'll Need to Succeed
* Certificate IV in OHS/WHS (minimum requirement).
* Previous experience as a Health & Safety Advisor, ideally within utilities, civil, or construction sectors.
* Familiarity with Health, Safety & Environment management systems.
* Strong communication and coaching skills with the ability to influence and drive cultural change.
* Degree qualification in OHS/WHS and ICAM Lead Investigator/Auditing experience (advantageous but not essential).
