Clinical Nurse Specialist - Wound Care - Incentives Offered at Hunter New England Local Health District
Lead the way in expert wound care – support patients from admission to recovery in a role that blends leadership, clinical excellence, and education.
Responsibilities
* Provide expert wound care management across both inpatient and outpatient settings.
* Assess, coordinate, educate, and manage patients with acute and chronic wounds.
* Lead the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care across the continuum from hospital admission to community follow-up.
* Play a key role in clinical leadership, staff education, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Engage in hands-on clinical care, staff education, and service improvement as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
About You
* Registered Nurse with postgraduate qualifications in wound care and at least three years of experience in wound care.
* Confident clinician and natural educator who thrives in a collaborative team and seeks better patient outcomes.

Requirements
* Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA, with relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience in the specified post-graduate qualification or equivalent
* Eligibility to drive in NSW with a current unrestricted driver's licence and willingness to travel for work purposes (may involve long-distance driving)

Remuneration and Benefits
* Remuneration: $57.11 - $58.99 Per Hour + Super + Salary Packaging
* Incentives: Up to $10,000 in the first 12 months plus up to $5,000 each year thereafter under the Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme
* Monthly Allocated Days Off for full-time staff
* 6 weeks annual leave for eligible full-time nurses
