We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper / Accountant / Financial Controller to join our busy team and work with multiple companies.
The position could also be available on a part-time basis with responsibilities shared between a Financial Controller and Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper.As a person, we are looking for honesty, reliability and passion.

Rest assured you will be a valued member of our busy head office team.Role OverviewMaintaining general ledger accounts and proactively handling requests from internal and external stakeholders.
Reporting to the CEO and assisting with various tasks when required.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform cash reconciliations, bank reconciliations and payrollAssist with the month-end accounting processRespond to requests and queries from internal and external stakeholdersAssist the CFO with ad-hoc tasks when requiredProactively check and respond to emailsLiaise with staff from other departments for various tasksPrepare BAS, PAYG, GST and payroll tax returnsManage end-to-end accounts payables and receivablesRequired Skills and AttributesMinimum 5 years' experience in a similar roleFamiliarity with Xero or similar accounting systemsAbility to work autonomously and proactivelyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHands-on and flexible with tasksStrong level of accuracy & attention to detailAbility to take on responsibility and accountabilityConfidence when dealing with internal and external clientsExcellent computer software skills
