Speech Pathology Australia is seeking an enthusiastic Conference and Events Assistant to join our dynamic team!
In this exciting and varied role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality national and state-based events. You’ll support the end-to-end planning and execution of events by coordinating logistics, liaising with venues, suppliers, presenters and attendees, and providing practical support on the day.

Key responsibilities include:
* Coordinating event registrations, travel bookings, and session logistics
* Managing communication with attendees, members, and presenters
* Assisting with marketing, materials, certificates, and post-event feedback
* Supporting setup and delivery at events and conferences
* Maintaining accurate event records and documentation
About you :
* You’re highly organised, detail-focused, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You bring strong communication and administrative skills, enjoy event coordination, and are ready to roll up your sleeves to help make each event a success.
Essential:
* Experience in event or admin support
* Strong interpersonal and time management skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools
* Ability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks
* Flexibility to travel and work extended hours during events
Desirable:
* Experience in a membership or not-for-profit organisation
* Familiarity with event registration systems or CRMs
* Knowledge of the allied health or education sectors
