THE OPPORTUNITY
This role is an excellent career move for a seasoned Senior Accountant capable of leading a team and mentoring Junior and Graduate Accountants. It requires a deep understanding of accounting standards combined with strong financial analysis skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Oversee accounting functions and initiatives
* Produce detailed financial analyses and reports
* Forecast revenue and expenses accurately
* Assist in budget preparation and oversight
* Ensure accurate balance sheet and ledger reconciliations
* Deliver exceptional client service and exceed expectations
* Manage workflow schedules efficiently
* Resolve account discrepancies and compliance issues promptly
* Handle tax filings efficiently
* Drive development and refinement of accounting systems
* Mentor junior and graduate accountants effectively
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
* Minimum of three years' practical experience in accounting
* Thorough knowledge of tax regulations and accounting standards
* Strong financial analysis skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Organizational skills and ability to handle stress effectively
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
* Experience in training and supervising staff
* Self-motivated and able to work independently
