Store Inventory Coordinator Job Description
Job Summary:
Operate at a level of quality that exceeds customer expectations by effectively receiving, maintaining and issuing store items in line with company policies. This Store Inventory Coordinator role involves operating within a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, strong organizational skills and effective communication are paramount.
Main Responsibilities:
* Receive all inwards goods delivered to the site ensuring accurate inventory records
* Maintain the inventory control system including regular stock takes as required
* Inspect and check materials for damage or defects upon delivery
* Handle and store hazardous materials in compliance with relevant company and legal requirements
* Issue parts, materials and tools to build shed staff efficiently and accurately
* Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and organized working environment
* Maintain the quarantine log to track and resolve issues promptly
* Use the Purchase Order book to order goods as required minimizing delays
* Control all paperwork associated with the store operation ensuring accuracy and completeness
* Other duties as assigned by management to ensure smooth operations
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Manual Driver's Licence to operate vehicles safely
* Intermediate Computer skills to manage inventory systems efficiently
* Forklift Licence and experience in using Forklift to handle heavy loads
* A people person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
* Organized and proactive with initiative to take on additional responsibilities as needed
