My client, an established national commercial design and construct firm, is seeking a Senior Associate - Clients & Strategy to join its Melbourne business .
This role is designed for a commercially astute leader with deep property market exposure - someone who understands asset performance, leasing strategy, and the broader commercial drivers behind workplace and property decisions.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping opportunities at their earliest stages, building trusted relationships across asset managers, portfolio owners, GMs and leasing networks, and converting strategy into secured projects.
The business operates nationally across workplace, commercial property, education, retail and hospitality sectors and is recognised for its integrated advisory, design and delivery model, along with long-standing client partnerships.
About the Role:
This is not a transactional sales role. It is a strategic, relationship-led position focused on influencing decision-makers early in the lifecycle.
You will:
* Identify, qualify and secure new project opportunities across Melbourne's commercial property market
* Strengthen relationships with asset managers, fund managers, portfolio owners and GMs
* Leverage established networks across leasing agents and tenant representatives
* Engage in workplace strategy conversations well before formal briefs are issued
* Lead tenders, pitches and high-level client presentations
* Work closely with internal design and project teams to translate commercial drivers into compelling solutions
* Maintain robust forecasting and pipeline reporting through CRM systems
* Represent the business across key industry networks and events
About You:
* Background in asset management, portfolio strategy, property advisory or senior client-side roles
* Strong understanding of leasing dynamics, tenant requirements and landlord priorities
* Existing networks across leasing agents, tenant reps, asset managers and commercial property stakeholders
* Demonstrated ability to originate opportunities, not just respond to them
* Commercial acumen with confidence operating at GM and executive level
* Experience within design & construct, property advisory, commercial real estate or related sectors
