I am looking for a Service Maintenance Supervisor for a government agency in Cairns.
This role would be a great fit for a construction tradesperson or a Service Maintenance Supervisor who is interested in transitioning into a more technical advisory position with Qld Government Agency
Duties include:
Contract administration covering a range of preventative maintenance services.
Supervision of contractors and trade staff.
Technical knowledge and valuable understanding of building services.
Competent in the use of excel, word and outlook.
Participate in and facilitate WHS audits.
Undertake on-site WHS inspections including plant and equipment checks.
Good understanding of procurement and work order management processes.
Good understanding of technical specifications and service frequencies.
About you:
Maintenance Construction Background
Intermediate level of MS Excel skills including being able to create spreadsheets to monitor construction tenders
Experience in tendering and costing for the construction industry
Demonstrated ability to communicate well with customers and in-house staff both written and verbal
