We are looking for vibrant, passionate Chefs/Cooks to join our passionate team at the historical Pinsent Hotel. We are a busy, multi entertainment venue, located in beautiful regional Victoria - Wangaratta, in the heart of the High Country & surrounded by wineries & fresh produce, our venue is well known for its dining & amazing meals.
The role includes, but is not limited to:
* Preparing, cooking and plating dishes as per our menu/dining procedures
* Following & implementing HACCP regulations
* Working a variety of rostered shifts including days, nights, weekends & public holidays
* Communicating with the Head Chef & team
* Assisting in cleaning down stations at the end of service
* Prep work for the next service
* Working with Front of House staff
* Ensuring that your work area, equipment and section are kept clean at all times, in accordance with health and hygiene, and following our OH&S policies
To be considered, you must have the following:
* Relevant Commercial Cookery Qualification
* Proven previous experience
* Ability to move and demonstrate skills for the following workstations: Larder, Grill, Pans & Fryer
* Excellent communication skills and time management
* Attention to detail, exceptional food presentation and strong organisational skills
