Job Description The role will include the following: Statutory obligations POC for the audit Manage a small team, providing leadership & guidance Oversee budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis. Assist in the management and overview of Payroll Tax obligations - local & overseas entities Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decision-making. Lead and mentor the accounting team to enhance performance and efficiency. Collaborate with external auditors and manage audit processes effectively. Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets. Support strategic projects and initiatives within the life science sector The Successful Applicant A successful Financial Controller should have: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional qualifications such as CA or CPA (or equivalent). Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and practices. Ideally big-4 or mid-tier background in audit Experience in financial management and reporting roles. Leadership skills to manage and motivate a team effectively.
