Digital Strategist + Copywriter
Ruby Assembly is a joyful digital media agency renowned for its strategic business development content for professional services. We help smart businesses show up with clarity, consistency and personality — and we do it with warmth, a sense of the progressive, and a collaborative way of working together as a group.
We're looking for a Digital Strategist and Copywriter who can think strategically, write beautifully, and confidently lead ideas from concept to delivery.
Role type and flexibility
This role starts at 3 days per week, with the expectation it will move to 4 days within several months.
We're flexible about how the work happens, with a practical blend of remote and in-person work designed to support great output, strong collaboration and a sustainable client-strategist rhythm.
What you'll do
* Develop content approaches that support clients' growth and business development goals
* Create platform-native social content for Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn (with a strong feel for what build brand legitimacy and why)
* Write high-quality copy across formats, including blogs, EDMs, landing pages, eBooks and thought leadership pieces
* Contribute to content planning and editorial collaboration, helping raise the creative and strategic standard across accounts
* Support reporting and client deliverables with a pragmatic, organised mindset
The clients you'll work with
Our clients span a wide range of professional service categories — from real estate to allied health, the legal industry to brokers, psychologists to psychics (yes, really). You'll enjoy switching context, learning about new industries, and finding the most compelling angle in each.
What you'll bring
* Agency and/or freelance experience delivering content to spec and on deadline
* Strong copywriting skills with an eye for tone, structure and clarity
* Confidence moving between strategy and execution (you can set direction, then make the thing)
* Hands-on familiarity with tools and workflows like PicMonkey, Mailchimp, Hootsuite and Canva
* A proactive, joyful energy — you bring ideas and you move them forward
* Comfort taking a leadership role in a small, high-trust team environment
