Job Opportunity: Technical Advisor
This is a permanent, full-time position within a team focused on technical standards, customer service, and quality results in insurance repairs.
You will use your experience in the industry to assist internal stakeholders on residential building matters, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards.
As a key member of our team, you will provide guidance to internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to building codes, accurate scoping, and effective cost control.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing technical advice on residential building issues, including repairs, rectification works, and compliance matters
* Reviewing scopes of work, quotes, and specialist reports to ensure accuracy and appropriateness
* Supporting stakeholders on complex and major repairs, offering guidance on repair methodology and risk mitigation
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Relevant trade qualification in a repair-related discipline
* Minimum 5+ years in residential building/renovation and estimating
* Strong understanding of residential building codes, standards, and compliance requirements
