The opportunity
Our client is a community focused federal government agency. They have multiple exciting positions available for APS5 level Content Writers to join the team.
12-month initial Labour Hire contract with the chance to extend. APS 6 level role offering $55.24 hourly + Superannuation. To be based out of their Richmond or Geelong office.
This is a hybrid position offering 2 days working from home, with the remaining 3 on site. 37.5-hour work weeks, with 7.5-hour work days.
Your responsibilities will include:
Researching, drafting and updating internal and external guidance with a participant focus that reflects the Agency's policy positions and meets agency's plain English and accessibility standards.
Interpreting the policy and legislative environment the branch operates in.
Developing or updating guidance material in response to participant and external stakeholder feedback.
Understanding the key stages of the participant pathway, specific participant cohorts and technical processes within SAP CRM and PACE business system requirements.
Providing service delivery knowledge and advice about procedural guidance, practice implementation and operational matters as needed to support an improved participant experience.
Contributing to continuous improvement, maintaining best practice and innovation in the branch.
Managing multiple priorities while maintaining high work standards, governance protocols and accuracy, meeting defined timeframes and performing other duties as requested.
Skills required?
Australian citizenship is a requirement to be eligible for this position
Experience as a content writer and designer with a focus on user-centered services and products
Demonstrated understanding of content design, including accessibility, inclusivity, readability, information architecture, content types and models
Experience collaborating across a multidisciplinary team
An understanding of user stories, prototypes and journey maps
Experience working in a fast-paced and changing environment
Abilities to adapt to change and pivots in priority
