Travel Reservations Manager $90K - $95K Super | Remote An exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced Reservations Manager to join an established and highly regarded travel company specialising in tailored travel experiences. This is a senior, hands-on role suited to a Travel Industry professional with proven leadership experience, who is confident managing people, processes, and operational escalations within a fast-paced travel environment. The role will support the Head of Operations and lead a high-performing reservations team. About the Role: Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Travel Reservation Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the international and domestic reservations team, ensuring bookings, confirmations, documentation, and service delivery are actioned accurately, on time, and in line with company standards. You will act as a key escalation point for complex booking issues, agent complaints, in-destination disruptions, and natural disasters, while also driving continuous improvement across workflows, systems, and team capability. Key Responsibilities: Manage and lead the international and domestic travel reservations team leaders. Liaise across Operations, Product, Customer Service, Accounts, and BDM teams. Maintain strong professional relationships with agents, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Lead team meetings, monthly reviews, and performance discussions. Drive improvements across processes, efficiencies, staff knowledge, and error reduction. Demonstrate strategic understanding of current operations and lead procedural change to align the department with the organisation's future direction. Oversee bookings, resolve issues with teams or divisions, and escalate ongoing or high-risk matters to the Head of Operations. About you: Proven experience operating at a managerial level within the Travel Industry, with the ability to step in and immediately support the Head of Operations. Ability to take ownership of escalations and remove day-to-day operational workload from senior leadership. Confidence leading international and remote teams, with minimal supervision. Confident communicator who can step in early to resolve issues with Managers, Agents, and internal stakeholders before escalation. Strong judgment in managing supplier relationships, knowing when to request commercial support versus when to protect long-term partnerships. Ability to review, redesign, and improve operational processes across a multi-team department.
