This is aneditorial role designed for someone hungry to build their cadence, refine their craft, and grow alongsidethe platformover the next 12 to 24 months. Sitting structurally within our Editorial departmentwith dotted lines to Commercial and CEO teams,your primary mandate is to hold, protect, and elevate the editorial standard of everysingle propertylisted on OTLM.You willensure that as we scaleand our editorial content evolves through new forms, itretainsthe uncompromising aesthetic, audience trust, and prestige that definesThe Local Project.
Key ResponsibilitiesEditorial Standard & Tone of Voice
* Own and enforce the OTLM editorial bar across every single touchpoint-including listing copy, story angles, and social assets,ensuring wemaintainour premium positioning.
* Work closely withThe Local Project's Editorto ensure the OTLM voice integrates seamlessly with the broaderThe Local Projecteditorial framework.
* Review developer and agent campaign briefs for editorial integrity before they transition into production, ensuring our brand standardsare never compromised.
Digital Cadence & Multi-Channel Publishing
* Partner with our Digital team to own and execute the OTLM publishing schedule,maintaininga highly visible, consistent presence.
* Social & EDM Execution:Ship a high volume of contentvia Instagram, EDM and other newsletters.
* Research, structure, andwriteeditorial articles anddeep diveson notable properties, architecture trends, and significant design movements.
* Function as a modern, efficient editor byutilizingAI tools as a cadence multiplier to streamline listing summaries, social captions, and EDM drafts, focusing yourexpertiseon the final edit, tone, and polish.
Cross-Functional Judgment & Relationship Handoff
* Exercise sharp judgment to distinguish between editorial intelligence (stories, coverage) and commercial opportunities (paid partnerships, listings).
* Act as the vital bridge between Editorial and Partnerships. Smoothly hand off organic developer leads to the commercial team, whileidentifyingexceptional paid listings that merit organic cross-promotion.
