The Project Officer role is a temporary position that works alongside the Senior Field Operations Officer to oversee projects related to Light Rail Stages 3 and 4.
Key responsibilities include liaising with external stakeholders to maintain continuity and safety of waste services during Light Rail developments, auditing and monitoring of waste services and contractor compliance reviews, and delivering timely and effective site inspections and consultation surveys as required.
This position requires a bachelor's degree in environmental science or equivalent and relevant experience, strong stakeholder liaison skills, and a Certificate IV in Project Management or equivalent and relevant experience.
In addition to providing quotations for waste collection services, this role involves ensuring stability and consistency of standardised functional processes and established service offerings, and investigating/resolving customer enquiries and complaints in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in a similar role, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
