Are you organised, detail-oriented, and great with people? We're looking for an Industrial Medical / GP Receptionist Team Member for a full or part-time role in a busy local practice.
About the Role:
This role is responsible for coordinating appointments across both Industrial Medicals and General Practice services, ensuring bookings are managed accurately and efficiently while providing a professional and welcoming experience for patients and clients.
This is a busy role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced medical environment.
Duties:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Welcoming patients and candidates at reception
* Monitoring appointment schedules to ensure smooth clinic workflow
* Coordinating and scheduling GP and industrial medical bookings and enquiries via phone, email and booking systems
* Liaising with employers, patients and candidates regarding appointments and requirements
* Support the medical team with day-to-day administrative and reception duties
* Process patient billing and payments
* Data entry and maintaining accurate booking records
* Ensure a friendly and professional demeanor towards team, clients and candidates
Previous experience in industrial, allied health or medical reception is preferred, but not essential
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
A team oriented and upbeat attitude
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Confidence to manage a busy front-desk environment
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Experience using medical booking systems, particularly PracSoft, Medical Director, or Best Practice Software
