Role Summary:
We are seeking an Administrative Officer to join our Student Wellbeing team.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support to services such as Counselling, Access and Inclusion, and the Student Hardship Assistance Fund.
This part-time position offers a supportive and positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide administrative support to services such as Counselling, Access and Inclusion, and the Student Hardship Assistance Fund.
* Act as the first point of contact for students and staff, helping with enquiries and making referrals to the right support services.
* Schedule appointments, coordinate meetings and events, take minutes, and manage emails and other correspondence.
* Maintain and update office records, databases, and registers.
* Support students by promptly triaging enquiries and ensuring they are referred to appropriate services.
* Assist with updating policies, procedures, forms, and help with projects and events as needed.
Requirements:
* Administrative experience preferably in tertiary or other education sectors.
* Mental Health first aid trained, or equivalent, with the ability to work alongside clinicians to support students in distress.
* Developed interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to work productively and cooperatively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Capacity to coordinate office administration systems and competency in various software packages including the Microsoft Office Suite.
