The Eagle Tavern is expanding, and we are looking for a talented Sous Chef to join our friendly, dynamic kitchen team.

Responsibilities
Lead and direct kitchen staff, ensuring tasks are delegated and completed efficiently.
Order and manage stock to maintain required levels.
Ensure all food safety and cleaning protocols are adhered to and properly documented.
Must obtain Food Safety Supervisor certification within 30 days of commencement.
Uphold the standards set by the Head Chef.
Manage kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef.
Develop creative dishes for our specials board.
Work across various kitchen sections as needed.
Requirements
Proven experience in running a kitchen team.
Minimum 1-2 years of kitchen leadership experience required.
Ability to manage workload during busy periods, including preparation, service, and cleanup.
Valid work visa accepted for employment.
Pub and bistro experience is highly preferred for this role.
