About the Role
The Home Care Assistant is responsible for delivering individualised care and support to clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their quality of life.
* Monitoring client health and wellbeing
* Providing transportation services
* Household management and cleaning
* Assisting with personal hygiene and grooming
* PPreparing meals and snacks
* Engaging in other activities promoting overall health and wellbeing
Key Responsibilities:
* To provide high-quality care and support to clients, tailored to their specific needs and preferences
* To work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals
* Showing respect and empathy towards all individuals, regardless of background or circumstances
* Demonstrating excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
* Able to adapt to changing situations and priorities
* Confident using digital technology and applications
* Up-to-date with relevant certifications, such as CPR and First Aid
* Strong commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
* A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
* Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends

Requirements:
* Qualifications: Certificate III in Ageing or similar qualification
* Valid driver's license and suitable vehicle
* Availability to work Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts
* Ability to commit to regular scheduled hours
