We are seeking an exceptional culinary leader to join our team at El Questro, a world-renowned culinary destination in the heart of the Kimberley. As our Sous Chef, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing kitchen operations and delivering exceptional à la carte dishes, breakfast buffets, and bespoke dining experiences.
The Role
* Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, including rostering and ordering.
* Lead by example and mentor junior staff to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality dishes.
* Maintain consistency and attention to detail while creating innovative menus that meet guest expectations.
About You
* You possess proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role with formal trade qualifications in commercial cooking. Strong skills in menu planning, cost management, and stock control are essential for this position.
