About the Role
As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing daily living support to residents in a residential aged care setting. Your duties may include assisting with mobility, personal care, and medical needs, as well as promoting independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Assist with medication management and administration
* Encourage social interaction and participation in recreational activities
* Monitor and report changes in resident's condition to relevant healthcare professionals
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability)
* National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* Previous experience working in aged care or disability services
