Description:
As a cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.
What you'll be doing
* Thoroughly cleaning and sanitising residents' rooms, communal areas, kitchens, and bathrooms
* Replenishing supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels
* Collecting and disposing of waste in accordance with infection control protocols
* Reporting any maintenance issues or concerns to the facilities management team
* Adhering to all health, safety, and quality standards within the facility
What you need to be successful in this role?
* Previous experience as a cleaner, preferably in an aged care or healthcare setting
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions
* Good communication skills and a friendly, professional manner
* Knowledge of infection control protocols and safe handling of cleaning chemicals
* A current Police Clearance (less than 6 months)
* Flexibility to work hours Monday to Sunday between 6am to 6pm, with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts as needed
* It is recommended that you will have 2 COVID Vaccinations and an up-to-date Flu vaccination
