Job Summary
This role involves working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment, conducting evidence-based assessments and interventions across multiple CYMHS program areas. The successful applicant will work closely with stakeholders, including consumers and their care teams, to understand presenting issues and develop appropriate treatment options.
Main Responsibilities:
* Conduct various evidence-based assessments across multiple CYMHS program areas
* Work closely with stakeholders to understand presenting issues and develop treatment plans
* Collaborate with other mental health professionals on research projects and quality improvement initiatives
Essential Requirements:
* Two years of supervised experience in a clinical area directly applicable to Child and Youth Mental Health Services
* Demonstrated knowledge and skill in contemporary psychological practice with children and adolescents
* High-level interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
The successful applicant must meet the essential criteria, including holding a tertiary qualification approved by the Psychology Board of Australia and being registered with the Psychology Board of Australia. A current Working with Children Registration and a Driver's Licence are also desirable.
