Are you a Contracts Administrator looking for an exciting opportunity to join a National construction company?
Design & Build Recruitment have an immediate opening with a trusted main contractor. The successful applicant will be involved in a variety of projects across new build, refurbishment, and defence. Our client maintains a strong focus on quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
As a Contracts Administrator, you will play a vital role in managing the administrative aspects of the projects, ensuring smooth operations and successful project delivery. These projects will all be in the Defence sector. As a result, you must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain Defence level security clearance.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Managing contractual documentation and correspondence.
Reviewing, negotiating, and finalising contract agreements.
Preparing and issuing project variations and progress claims.
Coordinating subcontractor agreements and ensuring compliance.
Tracking project budgets, costs, and timelines.
Liaising with project stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
Assisting with project procurement and supplier management.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Contracts Administrator in the construction industry.
Solid knowledge of govt/defence project requirements, contract law, construction methodologies, and industry practices.
Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Relevant qualifications in construction, project management, or a related field will be highly regarded.
