What You’ll Do
As a pharmacist at Mater Private Hospital Townsville, you will provide hands‑on clinical pharmacy services, support patient care and work closely with a multidisciplinary team. This is the perfect environment to sharpen your skills and gain experience that will open doors to future opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive clinical pharmacy services in a hospital setting.
- Conduct medication history interviews and reconciliation at transitions of care.
- Provide medication counselling and education to patients.
- Monitor medication outcomes and manage adverse drug reactions.
- Work collaboratively with doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals to provide the best patient care.
- Participate in training sessions for pharmacy, medical, and nursing staff.
- Support quality use of medicines through various audits and projects.
Our full‑time roster runs Monday to Friday with one short weekend shift every fortnight, giving you ample time to enjoy the stunning outdoors.

Essential Requirements
