The Role You Could Play
Join our Maxima Canberra team as the store's Operations Manager, where you'll be responsible for the operational processes that ensure the store is organised, well presented and enables our customers to have a seamless and exceptional shopping experience.
With a passion and extensive experience to manage our stock and back-of-house operations, your responsibilities will be to:
- Nurture and develop a team of Operations Specialists who are responsible for ensuring all operational procedures and visual merchandising standards are met- Lead, train and empower all team members on operational processes to ensure they know how to execute our operations to a high standard- Manage the end-to-end stock management process to ensure the store is always in an optimal stock position- Ensure our store is consistently meeting OH&S standards, keeping our team members and customers safe at all times- Manage the store's entire inventory (live, non-line and collateral)- Lead all stock takes and analyse results to provide recommendations on how to improve both the process and our stock levels-
- Manage and execute all visual merchandising of the store
What You Will Bring
You will love this role if thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and love to get into the nitty gritty detail of ensuring our operations are as smooth as they can be so our customers can have a seamless experience.
Along with your passion for being a part of a positive, high energy environment, you will have:
- Extensive experience in operations, with at least 2 years managing teams in a retail environment- Demonstrated ability and a passion for leading and motivating a team, driving operational excellence and delivering on sales and KPI expectations- Strong stock and non-stock operations knowledge, with the ability to empower store teams to ensure effective and consistent operations across the store- Exceptional communication and organisational skills- A meticulous attention to detail and passion for problem solving- Familiar with process optimisation (e.g. Lean) - highly desired
