Medical Affairs Scientist (Vaccines) page is loaded## Medical Affairs Scientist (Vaccines)locations: Australia - Remotetime type: 全职posted on: 今天发布job requisition id: **Medical Affairs Specialist, Vaccines****Why Patients Need You**Pfizer Medical Affairs colleagues play a key role in connecting evidenced based, medical decision support with colleagues and stakeholders to enable better health and treatment outcomes.**What You Will Achieve****Known internally as the Medical Affairs Scientist (MAS), Field**, you will facilitate the interaction/partnership between healthcare professionals (HCPs), medical societies and other healthcare-related organizations, academia, and Pfizer. You are responsible for leading medical-to-medical communications in the field with healthcare professionals and other relevant customers within a given therapeutic area by providinghigh-level scientific,clinical and research support.**For this role, we are looking for candidates with Vaccine experience.****How You Will Achieve It*** Lead proactive and reactive medical-to-medical communications in the field betweenhealthcare professionalsand the medical functions within Pfizer* Gather and analyze customer insights to help shape Pfizer medical activities that appropriately support customer needs* Develop and maintain a comprehensive stakeholder map to identify relevant HCPs, medical societies, and other relevant external stakeholders* Identify and facilitate educational, research and other partnerships between external stakeholders and Pfizer* Address field and customer queries on Pfizer medicines and research as well as handling compassionate use requests* Scientific expert and stakeholder management for HCPs, medical societies, other healthcare-related organisations, and academia* Execute the therapeutic area (TA) strategy under the guidance of the Senior Manager, Field Medical Excellence responsible for the allocated assets and leadership of the TA Medical Lead* Contribute to ensuring company’s medical compliance* Provide support to both Pfizer sponsored, and investigator-sponsored research activities* Additional support as required by the TA medical lead to assist with Clinical, Regulatory and Access support for pipeline and inline assets* A relevant university degree in science including healthcare professions* Proven experience either working as an MSL or deep knowledge of therapeutic area* 2+ years' experience in a scientific and technical capacity interacting with academics, researchers, or the medical profession* Strong analytical, interpersonal, and partnering skills* Ability to understand and influence in a highly matrixed environment* Demonstrated strategic business planning abilities and superior customer management skills* Medical Qualifications or PhD* Pharmaceutical Industry experience* Experience as a Medical Science Liaison or similar* Good working knowledge of relevant industry codes of conduct/practice**Qualifications**Must Have* A relevant university degree in science including healthcare professions* Proven experience either working as an MSL or deep knowledge of therapeutic area* 2+ years' experience in a scientific and technical capacity interacting with academics, researchers, or the medical profession* Strong analytical, interpersonal, and partnering skills* Ability to understand and influence in a highly matrixed environment* Demonstrated strategic business planning abilities and superior customer management skillsNice-to-Have* Medical Qualifications or PhD* Pharmaceutical Industry experience* Experience as a Medical Science Liaison or similar* Positive working knowledge of relevant industry codes of conduct/practiceWork Location Assignment: Remote - Field BasedWork Location Assignment: Remote - Field Based**At Pfizer we care about our colleagues’ wellbeing and offer a range of great benefits for them, including:*** Paid parental leave* Access to Health & Wellness apps* Career Growth Experiences program* Recognition & rewards program* Paid volunteer days* Life Insurance Benefits* Pfizer Learning Academy access to top content providers* Access to flu vaccines & skin checks* Options to purchase additional leave* Salary packaging & novated lease options\*Benefits listed may vary depending on your position and location and may be subject to change.Pfizer Australia and New Zealand’s diverse workforce represents the patients we serve and the communities in which we operate.
