Business Unit: St Jude's Disability Services

St Jude's Health Care Group is a trusted provider of Aged Care, Allied Health and Disability Services, established in 1982. With a strong reputation built over four decades and as a purpose-driven organisation, we operate with a clear philosophy: we do not provide any service that isn't good enough for our own families. Our work is grounded in respect, integrity, commitment, and genuine partnerships with the individuals and communities we support.

Role Summary

We are seeking compassionate, reliable and motivated Disability Support Workers to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will support people living with disability and/or psychosocial needs within the NDIS framework, helping them achieve their personal goals and build greater independence. You will assist with daily living activities while encouraging skill development, social connection, and active participation in the community where relevant. You will play an important role in promoting positive behaviours, fostering independence, and creating meaningful, person-centred experiences that enhance each individual's quality of life.

We welcome candidates who are passionate about making a genuine difference and empowering others to live fulfilling lives.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Supporting clients with community access where appropriate, including social outings, recreational activities, shopping trips, and attending GP or specialist appointments
* Providing in‐home support with activities of daily living, including personal care such as showering, dressing, and toileting
* Assisting with light domestic duties and meal preparation, as well as supporting clients with eating where required
* Administering medication in line with care plans and organisational policies
* Liaising with clients' families, carers, and other representatives to ensure consistent and person‐centred support

We are seeking candidates with flexible availability to work across Bunbury and surrounding suburbs!

Skills, Attributes and Experience

The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care that respects each client's choices, goals, and individuality. You will bring strong interpersonal skills, enabling you to build meaningful and lasting relationships with clients, their families, and the broader support network. A positive attitude and a genuine commitment to being a reliable and collaborative team member.

Key Requirements:

* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and WA Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain
* Proof of working rights (e.g. passport or valid visa)
* Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
* Previous experience as a Support Worker within the health or disability sector, or a relevant Certificate III qualification (highly desirable but not essential)

St Jude's NDIS are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. If the above opportunity is one that excites and encourages you, we would welcome and encourage your application. If your application is selected for progression then we will be in touch to discuss it with you soon.
