Electoral Operations Manager
This role involves overseeing the management of divisional election planning, delivery, and evaluation. You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and completeness of the electoral roll for approximately 100,000 electors within your division to exercise their franchise at the federal, state, and local government elections.
You will lead a team in preparing towards the next federal event, and once we move to the mobilisation phase of the electoral cycle, you will run the largest peace time activity mobilising up to 100,000 staff.
Your key responsibilities include:
* Developing team objectives for short term tasks and strategic planning for longer-term initiatives;
* Maintaining team cohesion and ensuring quality of outputs;
* Supervising temporary election staff and supporting the expanding workforce requirements seamlessly and efficiently;
* Contributing to the development of technical capability and fostering career development of team members.
