Classic Meats is one of Townsville's leading foodservice meat experts. We deliver portion control and all primal requirements to many of Townsville's best hotels, restaurants, clubs and institutions.
An opportunity exists for a reliable and motivated person to join our team. This multi-purpose position will allow the successful person to work as part of our Telesales/Administration team and within our production team.
Responsibilities
Generate sales and promote products and services on offer
Manage inbound and outbound calls with customers
Key orders from over the phone and emails
Work co-operatively with all team members
General clerical duties and liaise with other departments
Work as a team member to package, cryovac, label and weigh cuts of meat in an efficient and timely manner
Production duties including tenderising, crumbing and cryovacing meat & chicken
Skills and experience
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multi-task
Confident phone manner and excellent communication skills
Superior customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships with both work colleagues and customers
Sales experience and an understanding of the foodservice industry or an allied industry
Knowledge of meat and chicken and the relative cuts would be an advantage
Reliable with the ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
Excellent computer literacy including the ability to quickly learn internal systems
Willing to help out anywhere within the business with a 'can-do' attitude
