Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role are, but are not limited to the following:
Due diligence
* Assisting with due diligence investigations on behalf of vendors or potential acquirers;
* Assisting with investigating accountant (IPO) due diligence investigations for businesses seeking to list on the ASX;
* Preparing components of financial due diligence reports;
* Analysing financial information of target entities in order to conclude on quality of earnings;
Valuations
* Performing research into appropriate comparable companies and transactions;
* Drafting parts of the requisite valuation reports;
* Preparing and reviewing financial forecast models;
* Collecting, analysing, and interpreting information on the financial standing, cost structures, and trading effectiveness of organisations; and
* Assistance with corporate advisory engagements as required.
Skills & Experience
* Relevant University qualifications;
* Is seeking to become a CA;
* Strong report writing skills;
* Interested in analysing and challenging financial data;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a willingness to be adaptable to meet individual client needs; and
* Strong time management and organisational skills.
