Opportunity
As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will support personnel across multiple sites in the Sydney metropolitan area. The successful candidate will be tasked with maintaining safety excellence and maximising company safety performance through audit, evaluation, engagement, training, investigation and continuous improvement. You will report to the Health & Safety Manager and provide health and safety compliance advice to operational management across our Waste, Resource Recovery and Environmental Services facilities.

Responsibilities
* Conduct inspections and audits in accordance with the internal audit schedule
* Assist with third‑party audits
* Monitor the compliance of operations against company objectives, client and legislative requirements
* Engage with the Operations team in developing, reviewing and maintaining task‑based risk assessments
* Facilitate periodic reviews of the site risk register
* Deliver defined Health and Safety related training and other communications
* Manage our risk management software for the allocated sites
Qualifications
* Formal qualification or working to complete formal qualifications in Health and Safety or similar industry experience
* Working knowledge of relevant Health and Safety legislation, including Chain of Responsibility
* Valid Driver's Licence
* Stakeholder management skills
