Senior Site Manager - Commercial New Build (T2)

About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Site Manager who brings a wealth of knowledge across the full project lifecycle. This is a pivotal site leadership role where you will take ownership of end‐to‐end delivery, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard of quality.
You will be expected to be hands‐on when required, lead from the front, and maintain strong site presence while driving program, coordination, and subcontractor performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead full end‐to‐end site delivery of mid to large‐scale commercial new build projects
* Take ownership of site operations from early works through to handover and defects
* Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on‐site teams to ensure seamless delivery
* Drive program performance, sequencing, and critical path management
* Maintain a strong on‐site leadership presence, being hands‐on when required to resolve issues and set standards
* Ensure strict compliance with WHS, QA, and environmental requirements across all stages of delivery
* Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Consultants to deliver successful project outcomes
* Oversee commissioning, handover processes, and client engagement through to completion
About You
* Extensive experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager with a Tier 2 head contractor
* Proven track record delivering commercial new build projects through the full lifecycle (start to finish)
* Deep technical construction knowledge with the ability to problem‐solve on site in real time
* Strong leadership style – respected for your delivery capability, communication, and integrity
* Hands‐on approach when required, with the ability to lead by example on site
* Highly developed subcontractor and stakeholder relationship management skills
* Strong understanding of construction methodology, sequencing, buildability, and site logistics
* Reputation for delivering quality outcomes and maintaining long‐term industry relationships
