* HEO 8 - Starting salary of $126,065 p.a. plus leave loading and 17 percent superannuation

About the opportunity

This is an opportunity for an experienced proposal writer to step into this newly created position.

As a Development Content and Project Specialist, you would work with the Deputy Director, Philanthropic Proposals and other colleagues in the Development Office to lead proposition development, write and manage proposals for major and principal gifts ($100k+), including multimedia content.

You will also take a significant role in strategic development projects which influence the capacity of Advancement to deliver extraordinary gifts and will mentor and coach team members.

As such, we see the importance of recruiting talent aligned to these values and are looking for a Development Content and Project Specialist who can not only work with the Development team to provide strategic advice on the development of major or principal gift propositions and lead the preparation of complex proposals for major and principal gifts to high-level donors, but also:

* Support senior executives in stakeholder engagement and operational decision-making for major philanthropic projects including the Sydney Biomedical Accelerator fundraising model.

* Drive project planning, timelines, and delivery of key milestones.

* Facilitate collaboration, relationship-building, and trust between senior stakeholders who are both internal and external to the organisation.

* Monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure alignment with strategic goals and compliance requirements.

* Prepare reports, briefings, and documentation for governance and leadership.
