The Opportunity:
We are seeking a talented Senior Project Manager to join our Development Services portfolio as we launch into our **** strategy.
This role can be based in Hobart or Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities:
* Engage in the end-to-end delivery of development and infrastructure projects, from feasibility through to construction and handover.
* Prepare and manage project documentation including scopes, schedules, budgets, risk registers, procurement plans, and tender submissions.
* Buid and maintain strong relationships with clients, councils, government authorities, consultants, and contractors.
* Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs (engineering, planning, surveying, environmental) to ensure integrated and timely project outcomes.
* Manage project financial performance including forecasting, resource planning, reporting, and commercial risk.
* Participate in business development, proposal preparation, and strategic planning initiatives.
* Lead and deliver multidisciplinary development and infrastructure projects within Tasmania and other states.
* Demonstrate initiative and autonomy while applying sound judgement across diverse technical and planning domains.
* Also provide leadership to project teams including mentoring junior team members.
Requirements:
* 5 + years strong project management capability in either engineering, construction or property development with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
* Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve competing priorities with diplomacy and professionalism.
* Ability to interpret and communicate complex technical, planning, and regulatory information effectively.
* Demonstrated understanding of local development approval processes and infrastructure planning in Tasmania (or other states) is desirable.
* Financial and commercial acumen with an understanding of project profitability, cost control, and contract administration.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and client presentations.
* Self-motivated with excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Adaptability and resilience in dynamic environments with competing deadlines.
* Strong leadership, mentoring, and team coordination skills.
