Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified individual with a proven track record in HSE roles on large-scale industrial or EPC projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and enforcing our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Plan on-site, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations, and driving a culture of Zero Harm within our organization.
About the Role
In this critical position, you will work closely with project teams to ensure alignment on safety objectives, conduct risk assessments, and proactively implement measures to mitigate risks. You will also lead incident investigations, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with reporting procedures. Your expertise will help us maintain certification requirements and support internal and external audits.
Key Responsibilities
* Implement, maintain, and enforce the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Plan on-site.
* Ensure all subcontractors and personnel comply with HSE regulations and company safety standards.
* Develop and coordinate HSE training programs for employees and subcontractors.
* Conduct risk assessments and proactively implement measures to mitigate risks.
* Lead incident investigations, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with reporting procedures.
* Oversee site safety inspections, emergency preparedness, and compliance with local laws and regulations.
* Support internal and external audits and maintain certification requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will require:
Qualifications
* Qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience
* Demonstrated experience in HSE roles on large-scale industrial or EPC projects.
Skillset
* Strong knowledge of Australian occupational health and safety regulations.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence safety culture.
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify and implement process enhancements to improve HSEQ performance.
