EL2 - Director, Digital Delivery Manager
OrganisedwithintheChiefOperatingOfficerGroupwithinthedepartment,InformationTechnologyandDataDivision's(ITDD)purposeistoconnectpeopleandtechnology,empoweringthedepartmenttoexcel.ITDDisresponsiblefortheconsolidatedprovisionandsupportofstableandsecureITSystems,applicationsandservicestoalldepartmentusersacrossallStatesandTerritories,includingIndianOceanTerritoriesandNorfolkIsland,aswellassupportingsevenMinisterialoffices,andcoordinationwithportfolioentities.
ITDDprovidesthedigitalcollaborationandcommunicationstoolsnecessarytoconnectageographicallydispersedworkforceandtooptimisehybridworkingarrangements.Wemanageindustryandpublicfacingdigitalsystems,deliverdesktopservicestoover2,400staff,supportover30officelocationsacrossAustraliaandoverseethedepartment'scybersecuritycapability.
TheDigitalDeliveryBranch(DDB)withinITDDpartnerswithbusinessareasandstakeholderstodesign,develop,implement,andsupportmodernandinnovativedigitalsolutions,includingBusinessApplications,ICTTechnologyInfrastructureuplift,andlargebuildingfitoutprojects.
OurDigitalDeliveryManagersarepartofITDD'sleadershipteamandplayacrucialroleindrivingthedeliveryofprojectsforthedepartment,ensuringalignmentwiththeDepartment'sITStrategicPlan.Theyworkwithmultidisciplinaryteams,internalandexternalstakeholders,andtheseniorleadershipteamtoensuresuccessfuldeliveryandoutcomes.
Asleadersinthedivision,ourDeliveryManagersalsohaveakeyroleinshapingthestrategicdirectionofITDDandcultureofourteamsandareexpectedtocontributetodevelopinghighperformingteamsacrossthedivision.

Eligibilityrequirements
EmploymentwiththeDepartmentofInfrastructure,Transport,RegionalDevelopment,Communications,SportsandtheArtsissubjecttoconditionsprescribedwithinthePublicServiceAct1999including:
* Citizenship:candidatesmustbeanAustraliancitizenatthetimeofsubmittingyourapplication.
* HealthAssessment:Thepreferredcandidatemayberequiredtoundergoamedicalexaminationconductedbythedepartment'spreferredmedicalprovider.
