About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Managing Director, and sitting on the leadership team, this role is focused on managing the financial operations of the business whilst gradually enhancing efficiencies and improving systems and processes.
You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, overseeing financial planning and analysis, and driving financial insights to support strategic growth.
Based in Canning Vale, this hands-on and strategic role manages transactional and analytical finance, mentors the offshore AP and AR team and contributes to the leadership team.
Day to day:
* Lead month-end close, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
* Oversee payroll processing, reconciliations, and allocations.
* Develop forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis frameworks.
* Implement and improve FP&A models and scenario planning.
* Oversee daily financial operations and mentor the offshore team.
* Evaluate the financial viability of new projects and investments.
* Influence financial decisions and support growth strategies.
About you
We are looking for a driven and ambitious Finance Manager, ideally from a manufacturing or wholesale background with a knack for unlocking financial potential within organisations.
Ideally, you will have experience managing all aspects of the finance function, including regulatory reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, AR/AP, and developing internal controls.
* Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field with CA/CPA preferred.
* A proven track record in financial reporting and FP&A.
* Strong technical accounting knowledge and proven month-end reporting and analysis skills.
* A hands-on, adaptable, and strategic thinker with strong leadership, excellent communication and commercial acumen.
* Experience with Exonet or other related ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and accounting software.
* A lateral thinker who thrives in fast paced and dynamic environments.
