As our Facilities Officer, you will be working in a pristine workplace with heritage buildings and vast landscapes. We seek a current team player who is a qualified maintenance handyperson or tradesperson and who will work within and contribute to our diverse and multi-skilled Property and Facilities team.
Responsibilities
* Undertake meticulous repair and maintenance works to both heritage and recently-built buildings
* Attend to all maintenance requests, provide advice and facilitate growth projects
* Complete general maintenance around the College including traffic management, waste management and general tidying on a daily basis
* Manual handling such as setting up rooms for a multitude of functions, i.e. moving furniture and setting up equipment
* Operate various equipment to complete your daily duties
* Contribute to other property and facilities team priorities where required
Qualifications
* Previous experience in general maintenance or in a trade is a must
* Problem solving skills
* Able to undertake manual handling on a daily basis
* A current driver's licence, Working with Children Check and National Police Check
