A South Australian Government department is seeking an experienced Policy & Project Officer to support key priorities through to the end of the financial year. Working within a small, high-performing team, this role will contribute to significant policy and project outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Your new role
As the Policy & Project Officer, you will provide high-level policy and project support, including strategic analysis, development and review of documentation, and preparation of reports and written advice. Operating within a busy office, you will be required to manage competing priorities, work to tight timeframes and deliver high-quality outputs with minimal supervision. Strong organisational capability and sound judgement will be essential.
What you'll need to succeed
* Significant experience in policy development and project delivery within a government environment
* Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret complex information and provide clear advice
* High-level written communication skills, including report and briefing preparation
* Demonstrated ability to prioritise, multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work effectively within a small team
* Immediately available for the duration of the contract
* A current National Police Clearance and DHS WWCC are required
