Occupational Therapist Role
The Occupational Therapist will provide evidence-based services through multiple delivery models, including telehealth, community visits, and centre-based services. The role is mobile, offering flexibility to work from home or the company's hubs when not conducting client appointments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assessing and providing interventions for children and adults living with a range of disabilities.
* Working within the NDIS framework to maximize clients' level of function, capacity, and social engagement.
* Assisting clients with assistive technology assessment, recommendations, and applications.
* Completing timely documentation and report writing.
* Managing a varied caseload.
* Meeting professional expectations, including meeting billables and effective client management.
* Attending meetings, supervision, and personal development sessions.
* Building relationships with key stakeholders, including therapists, clients, and referral sources.
* Working across leading software platforms and online tools.
Essential Requirements:
* Relevant Tertiary qualifications in a related field.
* Discipline-specific professional registration.
* Working with Children Check (WWCC or Blue Card).
* NDIS Worker Screening Check.
* Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination or valid exemption.
* Police Check and International Police Check (for individuals who have lived overseas).
* Drivers licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
* Car insurance.
