We currently have an opening for a versatile plant operator and yardman (loader and excavator) who is a highly motivated and professionally minded individual. We are looking for someone who prioritizes safety and possesses experience in plant operations.
Responsibilities
* Skilfully operate machinery, including loader, excavator and on-site watercart
* Adhere to company policies and procedures
* Conduct pre-start checks
* Record and report any issues or incidents
* Complete all necessary safety documentation before starting work
* Perform general yard duties and labour tasks including general housekeeping as required
Requirements
* Experienced operating a loader, excavator, watercart
* Strong organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to ensure smooth operations
* Capability to follow directions and collaborate effectively within a team
* Proficient in diagnosing issues and proposing solutions
* Effectively management time and responsibilities
* Reliable with a strong worth ethic and commitment to the role
* Minimum of 5+ years experience operating loader and excavator equipment
* Must have Australian work rights
Qualifications
* Valid driver's license (HR preferable)
* Experienced in operating an excavator, front-end loader, watercart and performing general yard duties.
* Tickets for front end Load and excavator
* White Card
* Experienced with Welding (not required but looked upon favourably)
