Key responsibilities
As the Clinical Manager, you will provide leadership, coordination and support to the care team. You will demonstrate expertise in contemporary clinical practice and share knowledge of high standards in person-centered care. You will empower your team to deliver advanced clinical and holistic care to residents, and collaborate with Regional Operations and Regional Clinical Support Managers to promote a culture of service delivery that enhances residents’ lifestyle experiences. You will mentor and guide the team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
In This Role Your Responsibilities Would Include
- Clinical oversight of the facility, including all clinical reporting and documentation
- Focus on staff development and support for knowledge and education
- Manage clinical team documentation from admission, assessments, to care plan development and regular reviews
- Ensure sound medication management and related systems
- Staff training and ongoing management and support for care staff
- Ensure compliance with the Aged Care Accreditation Standards, in consultation with Managers and Care team
What you will bring to the role
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and Gerontology Nursing Certificate and/or Dementia Care Certificate would be highly regarded
- Previous management experience in a clinical aged care setting
- Confidence and accountability for clinical care provisions
- Demonstrated history of leading and mentoring staff
- Proactive and energetic approach to time management
- Strong working knowledge of care minutes
- Understanding and meeting accreditation requirements
- Approachable and confident communication style
